Martin Engineering’s Quick Change™ blade design gets tough with a tungsten-tipped, quarter-inch carbon steel insert.
Longer Blade Life
MARTIN® MAXIMIZER™ polyurethane blend and tungsten carbide tip allow a blade life that lasts 2 to 3 times longer than conventional urethane blades.
Maintains Tension
Provides consistent cleaning performance from the start; there is no wear-in period and the blade only requires re-tensioning approximately every 6 months.
Belt-Friendly
Urethane buffers extend from the metal insert to the end of each blade assembly to prevent the metal tip from catching and damaging belt edges.
Familiar Set-Up
Features the same mounting dimensions as their respective traditional QC™ #1 Heavy-Duty and Performance-Duty counterparts, making this cleaner an ideal and simple upgrade or retrofit.
Utilizes the same tensioning pressure (2-3 PSI) as a conventional urethane blade.
Fits both 1- and 3-piece mainframes.
Utilizes both spring and TWIST™ Tensioners.
Application Guidelines
- Suitable for vulcanized belts only. Do not use on belts with mechanical splices.
-
Belt speeds up to 900 feet per minute (4.6 meters per second).
-
Excellent for applications with wet, sticky materials.
-
No limitation of the type of material conveyed. Corrosive-resistant stainless steel insert option available in place of the standard carbon steel insert for applications with corrosive materials or environments.
Martin Engineering is the world’s leading developer and manufacturer of engineered conveyor belt cleaning / conveyor belt scraping systems. In this position, Martin Engineering has developed fundamental principles of cleaner design that have set standards for belt cleaner / belt scraper engineering and performance.
The multiple-cleaner system originally adopted by Martin Engineering is now the standard for applications on belt conveyors carrying all types of bulk materials around the world. End users (and other cleaner manufacturers) have accepted it almost universally.
