MARTIN® Dust Bags

Relieve Positive Pressure And Prevent The Escape Of Airborne Dust Without the Need for "Baghouse" Dust Collection

MARTIN® Dust Bags are a passive dust collection system using a filter bag to vent positive air pressure to maintain dust control. Installed before the chute end to vent air and collect dust traveling in that air, MARTIN® Dust Bags allow high positive-pressure air to escape without carrying dust away from the transfer point. When positive air pressure from material flow stops, MARTIN® Dust Bags collapse, dislodging collected material back onto the conveyor belt.

Exhausts Air, Retains Dust

Passive filtration system cleans air without mechanical collection.

Withstands Tough Conditions

Satin nylon construction withstands positive pressure under crushers and other air sources.

Sizes To Match Application

MARTIN® Dust Bags are suitable for use where air flow is below 1000 cfm (28,320 l/minute). Both Standard and Static Dissipating Bags are available 12-inch (300-mm) and 24-inch. (600-mm) diameters. Use the 24-inch. (600-mm) diameter bag when air flow is greater than 450 cfm (12,750 l/minute).

Simple Installation

Clamped in place, bag is equipped with a hanging grommet and a grounding strap to disperse static electricity.

MARTIN® Standard Dust Bag

MARTIN® Standard Dust Bags provide durable performance and effective dust control without needing a "baghouse" dust collector. The tightly woven Nylon Satin filter material will allow air to exit but will trap dust.

MARTIN® Static Dissipating Dust Bag

Designed for use in combustible environments, this dust bag instantly dissipates static charges. The felt-like filter media is interwoven with a stainless steel wire matrix that is connected to ground. Any static charge is carried to ground without generating a spark. MARTIN® Static Dissipating Dust Bags meet the requirements of DIN Standard 54345, Parts 1 and 3.

MARTIN® Dust Management Systems solve the problem of airborne dust by keeping fine particles in the load or by returning them to the main material body.

MARTIN® Dust Management Technologies include systems and components for dust collection and dust suppression.

Martin Engineering will take "single source" responsibility for your dust control systems. From system design, hardware manufacturing, system installation, operator training, consumable chemicals supply, and system maintenance, Martin Engineering provides the "Total Solution" to dust management.
