MARTIN® Carryback Capture System

MARTIN¨ Carryback Capture System

MARTIN® Carryback Capture System scavenger conveyor technology improves belt cleaning in tough conditions.

The MARTIN® Carryback Capture System is designed to return carryback from secondary and tertiary cleaners to the main cargo stream. Carryback from secondary and tertiary cleaners falls into the collecting trough where an electrically-driven hydraulic cylinder pushes a steel blade across a steel collecting deck, moving captured material to a point where it returns to the main conveyor discharge. The cleaning cycle of each unit automatically adjusts to match the belt speed of the main conveyor.

The MARTIN® Carryback Capture System is designed in modular, four-foot (1.2 m) sections so it can be constructed in lengths from 8 to 24 feet (2.4 to 7.3 m). Units are available to match belts from 36 to 72 inches (900 to 1800 mm) wide.

Reduces Carryback and Spillage

Allows for the addition of secondary and tertiary cleaners outside the head chute and
returns removed carryback to the cargo stream.

Improves Safety

Reduce worker risks and cleanup costs through the movement of carryback away from moving parts and confined spaces.

Versatile

Modular construction increases portability and makes installation easy in any unique or confined spaces.

Low Maintenance

Minimal moving parts increases reliability and minimizes opportunities for breakdowns.

Low Profile

System requires only 13 in. of clearance for easy installation in tight spaces.

Easy to Expand

The 8 ft base unit can be expanded by adding 4 ft modules for lengths up to 24 ft.

MARTIN® Conveyor Transfer Points are custom-engineered by Martin Engineering to eliminate blockages, reduce impact, centralize loading and guarantee the material flow rate.
