OVERVIEW
Martin Engineering (a US based multinational) purchased Scorpio Conveyor Products in late 2003, bringing to Southern Africa a system of Global Expertise by leveraging the worldwide MARTIN® Network.

Both local and international human capital and systems were engaged in taking the newly acquired business unit forward.

A state of the art Technical Control Centre and Research and Development facility drive innovation and design, leading to market leading products and engineering systems.

MARTIN® South Africa enjoys a reputation of quality products and excellent service, often touted as an industry leader in bulk handling technology and services.

Through attention to detail, focus on service, and by employing the best people in the industry, MARTIN® continues its aggressive growth strategy.

THE TEAM

MARTIN® South Africa employs 172 staff, with the majority based at the company offices in Witbank, Mpumulanga. However, due to the wide area which MARTIN® serves and their commitment to client service, there are over 40 field operatives out servicing clients needs at any given moment in time.

PRODUCT OFFERING

MARTIN® focuses on making bulk handling cleaner, safer and more productive. MARTIN® sells a wide range of bulk handling engineered products such as belt cleaners, idlers, troughs, guarding, chutes, vibrators and air cannons.

SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Martin Engineering currently contributes to various charities including Child Welfare, White Rose Hospice, the Cancer Association, the SPCA as well as sponsorship of local school and club sports teams.
